What documents do I need to become a verified pro?

You'll need: (1) Aadhaar Card for identity, (2) a selfie with your Aadhaar for face match, (3) PAN Card for tax and payouts, (4) address proof (Voter ID / Driving License / utility bill / rent agreement), (5) bank account details for payouts, and (6) a profile photo. Trade-specific certifications (electrician, plumber, beautician) are recommended but optional for most categories.
How and when do I get paid for my services?

You receive payment within 24 hours of marking a job as complete and the customer confirming it. Earnings are transferred directly to your linked bank account or UPI ID. There are no minimum withdrawal thresholds and no payout fees. You can track all your earnings and payouts in real time from the Pro dashboard.
Can I set my own prices and working hours?

Absolutely. You have full control over your service rates, availability, and working hours. Set different rates for different services, block out time slots when you're unavailable, and accept or decline any booking request. VanHub never forces you to take a job — you're your own boss.
What happens if a customer cancels or doesn't show up?

If a customer cancels more than 2 hours before the slot, there's no charge to either party. If they cancel within 2 hours or don't show up, you receive a ₹100 visit fee compensated by VanHub. Our dispute resolution team handles any conflicts fairly and quickly.
Do I need a smartphone to use VanHub?

Yes — you'll need an Android or iOS smartphone with internet access to receive booking requests, message customers, navigate to job locations, and manage your schedule. The Pro app is free to download and works on any device running Android 7+ or iOS 13+.
Can I offer multiple services under one profile?

Yes. You can list up to 5 service categories under a single profile (for example, an electrician might also offer AC repair, fan installation, and inverter servicing). Each service can have its own rate and availability. Adding more relevant services increases your visibility and booking potential.
What if I get a bad rating from a customer?

A single bad rating won't hurt your profile — customers see your overall average. However, if your rating drops below 4.0, you'll be placed on a 30-day improvement period during which you'll receive fewer bookings. Our support team will work with you to identify and fix the issues. Pros who consistently maintain 4.5+ get priority placement.
Is my personal information safe with VanHub?

Your KYC documents are stored encrypted and never shared with customers. Customers only see your name, profile photo, service category, rating and general service area (not your exact address). We comply with India's DPDP Act 2023 and never sell your data to third parties. You can request data deletion at any time.
